İzmir is preparing for the meeting of clean energy at WENERGY Expo 2024

Izmir, the capital of renewable and clean energy in Turkey, is preparing to host the Wenergy Expo - Clean Energy Technologies Fair from May 9-11, 2023. Under the theme "The World's Energy Meets in Izmir," the event will open its doors at Fuarizmir, alongside the "Wenergy'23 Clean Energy Technologies Fair and Conference," where leading industry figures will speak. As of March 2023, Turkey's installed electricity capacity has reached 104,326 Megawatts, with renewable energy sources accounting for 54% of this capacity. Turkey has set a "Net Zero" target for 2053 and aims to increase its installed electricity capacity to 190,000 MW by 2035, with the share of renewable sources reaching 65%. By 2035, 74.3% of the increase in installed capacity will come from investments in wind and solar energy. The Wenergy'23 Clean Energy Technologies Fair and Conference, held simultaneously with the exhibition, will feature top experts and provide a platform for experience sharing and discussions on the latest advancements in the field.
