Expo Venue
Izmir, a port city where commercial relations have been intense throughout its history, has also hosted the first fairs of the country's history. Organized during the Izmir Economics Congress, the “Sample Display” was later renamed “9 Eylül Meşheri” (9 September Local Exhibition), and these exhibitions were accepted as the 1st İzmir International Fair.
While “Kültürpark” hosted the Izmir International Fair, Turkey's first international fair; Fuarizmir was established on March 25, 2015 in order to respond to the increasing potential of exhibition organization, to create a platform worthy of world exhibition organization and to maximize sectoral interaction. Turkey's largest, newest and most modern fair center, Fuarizmir was inaugurated with Turkey's largest specialized fair, Marble Natural Stone and Technologies Fair.
